As you know, we get lots of rainy days in the Carolina spring and summer! For every day it rains your scheduled treatment will be pushed back one business day (our technicians have off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). This means that, for example, if you are scheduled to be sprayed Tuesday and it rains Monday and Tuesday, you will be sprayed on Thursday. If you are unsure whether or not we have been rained out or when your next treatment is, feel free to email us.
Our technicians are trained to spray the landscaping throughout your entire property, in the front, sides, and backyard. Their strategy is to set up a perimeter around the property to keep mosquitoes out, and to spray places inside that perimeter that may be housing or breeding mosquitoes. This includes underneath decks and in corrugated downspout extensions, but not the lawn. Mosquitoes hang out in dark, damp places. They do not rest in turf.
Places that our technicians avoid spraying include gardens, chicken coops, and fruit-bearing or flowering plants. They have a good eye for knowing what should and should not be sprayed, but if you would like to ensure something is avoided, you can email us to let us know.
Our technicians typically have a set routine for each property so that they cover everything as thoroughly and efficiently as possible. This means that, depending on the property, they take between 5 and 15 minutes. The Stihl backpack blowers that we use put out a lot of product in a short amount of time. Our technicians have treated thousands of properties and have become enormously efficient at using these powerful machines.
David, Anderson, Joseph, and John take pride in their work and thoroughly treat each property. They do not want to have to return to a property between regularly scheduled treatments to perform a respray. Despite this, resprays happen, so if you are having mosquito issues in between your regularly scheduled treatments, take advantage of our free respray policy.
Technicians have experience with all kinds of different gates, and usually have no issues gaining access to backyards and other gated areas. If they are unable to get into a backyard, they will let us know so that we can reschedule the treatment with you. If your gate is typically locked, you can either make note of the day you are usually scheduled and unlock the gate that day, or you can request a notification the day before so that you know when to unlock it. We come out to spray every 3 weeks exactly, weather permitting.
We take pride in how hard our technicians work to make sure our customers are as mosquito free as possible. No treatment can promise 100% control of mosquitoes, but we try!
As always, if you have any questions, feel free to email us. Thank you all for your continued support!
